A well organised General Body meeting of Circle Office Branch was held on 24/02/2007 in the presence of Com. Pallab Bose Circle Secretary SNEA(I) UP(E) at Circle Office Campus, Hazratganj Lucknow. Metting was addressed by Circle Secretary, Com. A.K. Misra ACS, Com. S.K. Misra Circle Treasurer, Com. Virendra Mohan President and Com D.K. Misra Divisional Treasurer.

Com. Virendra Mohan, Com. Hori Lal and Com. Satish Chandra Yadav are elected unanimously as District President, District Secretary & District Treasurer respectively.

A Marvelous General Body Meeting of Gorakhpur district was held in presence of Com. Pallab Bose Circle Secretary SNEA(I) UP(E) at telephone exchange campus, civil lines gorakhpur. Metting was addressed by Circle Secretary, Com. R.R. Shukla ACS, Com. G.P. Singh DS Gorakhpur and many other comrades.

Com. S.I.A. Zaidi, Com. G.P. Singh and Com. G.C. Gupta are elected unanimously as District President, District Secretary & District Treasurer respectively.

After meeting Circle Secretary along with gorakhpur executive body meet with Sri D.P. Misra, GMTD Gorakhpur and discussed local problems. Metting was very successful.

A Marvelous District Annual Conference of Kanpur Telecom District was held at CTO Building, Mall Road, Kanpur on 15-02-2007 in the presence of Com. Pallab Bose Circle Secretary. Discussion was held on Local Issues and Organisational matters. Meeting was addressed by Circle Secretary, Com. R.C. Tripathi Vice President, Com. L.P. Verma District President, Com. Indrjeet Singh District Secretary, Com. Jagdish Singh and many other comrades.

    Com. J.K. Singh, Com. C.S. Dwivedi, Com. Anand Kumar Pathak were Unanimously elected as President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

Circle Secretary met Hon'ble Sri Om Vir Singh, CGMT UP(E) in the evining of 13th feb 2007 along with Com S.K. Misra Circle Treasurer, Com Dipesh Chandra Shukla ACS & Com S.K. Dixit CWC Member to discuss following issues :

1. Timely implementation of Time bound promotion/post based Executive promotional Policy for Group ‘B’ level officers of   BSNL

2. Renewal of Local Officiating Promotion of JTOs & SDEs

3. Delay in DPC of JTOs for Lateral promotion

4. Delay in Confirmation orders of  JTOs

5. Furnishing of ACRs & other details for conduction of DPC for Adhoc promotion of TES Gr. ‘B’ to STS to BSNL Hqtrs. - Left out Cases

6. Residential Land Line Service Telephone Connections to Executives – Extending India One Facility to Service Telephone Connections to avoid disconnection & payment of  Bills

7. CUG creation in the GSM service connection as it is being done in other circles

8. Local Officiating Promotion of Executives belonging to SC Category e.g.  Shri Virendra Kumar  JTO, Varanasi, Shri Ramraj  JTO , Mirzapur & Shri Roop Kishore JTO, Kanpur – Implementation of Roster

9. Long pending BCR Case of Shri Sahdev Trivedi, JTO, RTTC, Lucknow due w.e.f. 1996 – In TI Cadre

Attention to All DS of SNEA(I) UP(E) Circle

For local officiating promotion of JTO to SDE(T) and SDE to Grade of STS(DE) a "special report" is very urgently required for further extension of local officiating promotion. Com.Pallab Bose Circle Secretary and Com. Dipesh Chandra Shukla ACS called on Shri A.K. Srivastava, GM(admn) UP(East) Circle on 03-02-2007 and discussed the following pending issues related to UP(E) circle :

1.    To initiate action for timely implementation for time bound/post based executive promotion policy for Grp-B level officers of BSNL.

2.    Renewal of local officiating promotion of JTO to SDE and SDE to STS (DE) .

3.    Implementation of pending Request Transfer.

4.    Immediate sanction of Service RSTC/ Mobile Connection to the executives of UP(E) circle.

5.    DPC of left out cases for promotion of SDE to DE(adhoc).
